WELCOME TO BREWED BY BOON

We’re all about crafting exceptional coffee experiences. With decades of barista expertise, we decided to bring our passion to life. After working for others both within and outside the coffee world, we finally found ourselves in a position to do it for ourselves. This led to an 8-month journey of building Peggy.

Everything we serve is freshly baked and locally sourced, embodying our commitment to supporting local producers. Our bespoke coffee and brews are crafted to perfection, ensuring a delightful and memorable experience with every sip.

Hello from Grace & Louis

MEET PEGGY

MEET PEGGY

Peggy is our charming Peugeot van. She’s equipped to serve and steam all day, powered by high-voltage batteries — no external electricity or noisy generators needed.

Peggy was built, not bought, with every screw and brushstroke lovingly done by us. She even sings, with tunes from our vinyl player while you wait. Now, with Peggy ready, we’re hitting the road to bring locally sourced, sustainable, and delicious coffee and treats to every corner.

  • The farm is 450 acres in the beautiful Chiltern Hills in South Buckinghamshire

Two Spoons

  • Giles, also known as Big Spoon, has always had a deep love for tea, which he attributes to his Irish roots. When it comes to his favorite brews, there are three that stand out: an Assam second flush, with its malty and jammy flavors—perfectly paired with a bacon sandwich; a Masala Chai, best enjoyed on the streets of Kolkata from a clay cup; and anything made by his kids. While their tea may not be the finest and is a rare treat, it’s always made with love—though Giles admits it doesn’t always taste the best (sorry, boys!).

Over the course of 25 years in the tea industry, Giles has traveled the world, from Pakistan and Papua New Guinea to India and Indonesia. These experiences have been marked by the joy of meeting passionate people dedicated to producing an extraordinary crop. Now, he and his team are eager to share that wealth of knowledge and champion tea in all its glory.

  • Mark has been involved in the tea trade for more than 30 years. Like Giles, he was introduced to tea by his Irish Nana, who weaned him on sweet, milky tea. His day typically starts with an English Breakfast tea—or three—with his personal favorite being the Great Taste Award-winning Bungalow Blend, which comes with its own story. As the day progresses, Mark tends to reach for green and oolong teas, which he’s been fortunate enough to discover during his travels in China. He appreciates their health benefits, delicious taste, and lightness when brewed off the boil.

Mark considers himself blessed to have had a career in tea, a path that has allowed him to travel extensively and meet incredible people along the way.

  • The job advert read: “Trainee Tea Taster Wanted – Must Be Prepared to Travel the World.” They applied, somehow got through, and now, after tasting over a million cups of tea, here they are. As part of their training, each of them spent a year living in tea-producing countries. During that time, they visited tea plantations, factories, warehouses, and ports, experienced tea auctions, and connected with the global tea trade, forging lasting friendships along the way. They learned that no matter where you go, people share an incredible passion for this remarkable product.

At Two Spoons, they are eager to showcase not only great tea but also the passion and stories they've collected throughout their journey.
